Martin Mladenov is a PhD candidate in the Cybersecurity group at the Delft University of Technology. He began his doctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Georgios Smaragdakis and Dr. Harm Griffioen in August 2025. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Cybersecurity, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, both from TU Delft. His research focuses on network security and Internet measurements.
Martin is an active participant in Capture the Flag (CTF) cybersecurity competitions and is part of the organizing committee of the TU Delft CTF Team. Since 2024, he has been a member of Bulgaria’s national cybersecurity team, representing the country at the European Cyber Security Challenge (ECSC), an annual competition coordinated by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA).
